It is with great excitement that I welcome you to Wonewoc-Center Elementary! I want to take a few moments to introduce myself. My name is Greg LaBansky and I am honored to be the elementary principal at Wonewoc-Center. I am originally from Reedsburg but I have lived in Wonewoc for the past 14 years. I am beginning my 24th year in education and second year as principal. Although this is my second year as principal of Wonewoc-Center, I am not new to the district. I taught middle school and high school social studies at Wonewoc-Center Schools from 2004-2012. I also served as the K-12 Gifted and Talented Coordinator. I am beyond grateful to be back in the district rejoining the Wonewoc-Center family!

I will be sending a newsletter home monthly called “Pup Prints.” Since a young wolf is called a pup, I felt compelled to include that in the name of our newsletter. The goal of the newsletter is to keep you informed about relevant items so you can continue to play an active role in your child’s education. I look forward to meeting you if we haven’t already met!
