Six $750 scholarships will be presented to students from schools within the Alliance.

The scholarship will be awarded annually to one graduating high school senior from each of the four membership regions of Wisconsin as specified in the organization’s bylaws. An additional at-Large scholarship will be given to the next highest scoring applicant. Each recipient will receive a one-time cash scholarship of $750 to be used by the student to help defray the costs of post-secondary education and related expenses. |

Application must be completed on computer and then printed. Application and essay need to be turned into Mrs. Savage by end of day Friday, January 29th. From the pool of applicants, the school will select one student to be a semi-finalist and their application will be sent to WiRSA for final selection. Awards will be announced by April 15.

The National Farmers Organization (NFO) is sponosring their annual Steve Pavich and Frank Pries Memorial Scholarship and Farm Kids for College Scholarshiop for Wisconsin high school seniors interested in pursuing an education in agriculture. Applicants will automatically be eligible to win both scholarships by completing one application.
To be eligible for the scholarships you must:

- Major in an agricultural field at an accredited college or university

The American Legion, Department of Wisconsin Schneider-Emanuel Scholarship goes to three (3) deserving graduates of any accredited Wisconsin high school the sum of $1000.00 to be applied to the cost of continuing education at any degree granting college or university within the United States of America. It is the intent that this award shall enable a student to secure a baccalaureate degree. The first scholarships were awarded in 1968.

Funding varies from year to year depending upon the number of continuing students. The Higher Educational Aids Board (HEAB) determines annually the amount of funds awarded for continuing students. HEAB then divides the remaining funds between the WEOP offices and the college financial aid community to award to new freshman. The TIP grant ranges from $600 to $1800 per school year. |
