Middle School Science Email Phone: 608-464-3165 ext. 153 I’m excited to be teaching at Wonewoc-Union Center, my alma mater—a fantastic school deeply committed to its students. I’ve had the opportunity to teach across various grade levels, from Kindergarten through 8th grade science, in places like Knoxville, TN, and La Crosse, WI. Being back in my hometown of Wonewoc, WI, is especially meaningful to me.
In addition to teaching, I stay actively involved in the science education community as the secretary for the Wisconsin Society of Science Teachers. I hold a B.S. in Psychology with an emphasis on Child and Youth Care from UW-La Crosse, an M.A. in Instruction from Saint Mary's University, and a Reading Specialist certification. I’m also experienced in integrating technology into education through the iTeams grant.
I am passionate about student travel and organize trips yearly, believing that these experiences are invaluable for students' growth and learning.
Outside the classroom, I enjoy reading, hiking, canoeing, traveling, and yoga. My husband and I have three wonderful children—Anna, Destiny, and Emmett—along with three cats and two dogs. Every day, I wake up excited to work with amazing students and to be part of such a supportive school community.
