High School Science Email Phone: 608-464-3165 ext. 132 I am currently in my 7th year of teaching at Wonewoc-Center High School, where I am proud to be an alumnus. I teach a range of high school science courses, including Biology, Earth Science, Anatomy & Physiology, Chemistry, Physics, AP Biology, Forensic Science, and Wildlife Management. My passion for science is rooted in my academic background, which includes a B.S. in Archaeological Studies from UW-La Crosse (with minors in Geoarchaeology, Anthropology, and University Honors) and an M.A. in Anthropology from the University of Tennessee, where I specialized in Zooarchaeology and Statistics.
Outside the classroom, I am deeply involved in the Wisconsin science education community, serving as the District 4 Director of the Wisconsin Society of Science Teachers. My wife, Stephanie Baker, also shares my passion for education, teaching middle school science at Wonewoc-Center. Together, we are raising three wonderful teenagers—Anna, Destiny, and Emmett—and share our home with two dogs and three cats.
In my free time, I enjoy outdoor activities such as camping, hiking, and canoeing/kayaking. I am also an avid cook and love reading about science.
