Hello! My name is Mrs. Hill, and I’m proud to be in my 21st year of teaching and my 5th year here at Wonewoc-Center School. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Illinois State University, with an emphasis in Science, Social Studies, and Language Arts.
My husband, Nate, and I live in Wonewoc with our children—Jonathan, Lucas, and Bella. Our oldest daughter, Hannah, is currently a freshman at UW-Stout. I miss her tremendously, but I know she’s off to do great and mighty things!
When I’m not in the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my family, sipping (lots of) coffee, snuggling with our cat Dilly, traveling, (especially to the beach to collect seashells), camping, hiking, cheering on my kids and students in sports, watching NFL football and college basketball, coaching, thrift shopping, and collecting flair pens. And yes—pineapple does belong on Hawaiian pizza, one of my other favorites! One of our favorite family mottos is: "Whatever you do, do it well." which has helped and guided me to where I am today.
I’m so excited to welcome your child to Room 107 this year! Our classroom theme is “Moving Mountains,” and my goal is to help each student reach new heights in both academics and personal growth. This year, we’ll dive into multiplication and division, paragraph writing, novel studies, engineering, habitats and adaptations, and soooo much more.
It’s always a great day to be a WOLF—and I look forward to a fantastic year ahead!
