Hello! I am Miss Even, and I’m so excited to be teaching first grade this year! This will be my third year of teaching and my second year in first grade. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire with a degree in Elementary and Special Education. Currently, I’m working on earning my master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction, which helps me bring even more exciting and enriching experiences to our classroom.

Teaching is my passion because I love learning alongside my students. My favorite part is seeing children grasp a new concept they have been working so hard on and witnessing all the growth they make as individuals. In first grade, we will embark on an incredible journey of discovery together. We explore important topics like adding and subtracting numbers and identifying characters, settings, and events in stories. First grade is such a special time for growth, especially in reading, and I’m excited to witness all the progress my students will make.

Outside of teaching, I enjoy baking, playing board games, and spending quality time with my friends and family.
